White Mountain Hotel and Resort - What better way to kick off your mountainside getaway than with a full day at the highly popular White Mountain Hotel and Resort? This upscale hotel sits adjacent to the Echo Lake State Forest, just 6.5 miles away from the city of Conway. Many people often refer to this hotel as a quintessential New England getaway with its traditional and colonial-inspired decor paired with its wonderfully modern amenities and luxuries. The entire hotel holds 80 rooms, most of them with breathtaking views of the magnificent surrounding cliffs and gorgeous mountains of New Hampshire. White Mountain National Forest -Welcome to the White Mountain National Forest, a Northeaster must-see that provides more than 800,000 acres of preserved forest with mountain views and historic sites galore. The reforested mountains and hillsides are dotted with history, the park itself established in 1918 after a long battle with unregulated logging practices and private timber companies. Once here you will have many opportunities for adventure, so take a challenging or adventurous trail, or maybe renew yourself with a wooded climb through the trees. You can hike, bike, climb, camp, fish, hunt, view nature, take part in any water or winter sports, and even several outdoor learning opportunities. You may also want to take advantage of the Kancamagus Scenic Byway for a drive, or perhaps the historic Russell-Colbath House or Brickett Place. This is one gorgeous, fun, and educational stop that you and your entire group are all going to love!
The Lobster Trap - If you’ve worked up an appetite you’re in for a treat with your next stop, the Lobster Trap. First established in 1958, this North Conway mainstay is renowned for the finest fresh Maine lobster, a delicious tradition of excellence started by founder Henry Thompson over 57 years ago. Open daily for lunch and dinner, the Lobster Trap offers traditional New England boiled or baked lobster, the baked stuffed with crab meat stuffing, each weighing between one to three pounds on average. Enjoy their seafood specialties, fresh-cut sirloin steaks, or italian specialties, a culmination of over 50 years of cuccio chef experience. Colonial Theater - The historic Colonial Theater in Bethlehem will be an absolutely excellent last stop of the day, the perfect day to unwind and still be immersed in local culture, history, and entertainment! This movie theater was built in 1915, making it one of the oldest continuously operated movie theaters in the country! Colonial Theater was built by Florida architect Francis Kennard, in the at-time famously popular art deco style. It was established in the era of grand hotels within a premier resort spot, making it a highly traversed theater that became a test market for new films. Here your group can see nationally acclaimed artists in an intimate setting, or also take part in any community events or live performances happening while there. Colonial just celebrated its big anniversary this year, providing 100 years of blockbuster Hollywood hits and independent award-winners day after day!

Mount Washington Valley - The mountain adventures have just begun, as you and your group get comfortable with some relaxation and recreation in the beautiful natural setting of Mount Washington Valley. Known fondly as the highest peak in New England, this 6,288 foot peak and its surrounding village offers a little bit of something for everyone in your group, from sleigh rides in the falling snow to scenic fall drives and a sultry summer nightlife. Your group may choose to take a scenic train tour, unwind with a spa day, shop till they drop, learn a bit at a local museum, blow off some steam with adventurous recreation, or set sail on a sightseeing cruise! Mount Washington Weather Discovery Center - Welcome to the Mount Washington Weather Discovery Center, the interactive science museum that brings the wonder of the atmosphere right to your fingertips! Here your group will get the chance to explore the science of climate and weather through many interactive and truly fun exhibits. There are hands-on exhibits and lessons for all ages and levels of knowledge at this science museum, and you will even have the chance to customize your very own 1 hour group tour through the center. Check out some popular exhibits like the air cannon, flow tank, or wind room, or maybe take some time to learn about the 110 solar panels installed atop the building that make it so sustainable. This museum is a part of the larger establishment called the Mount Washington Observatory, a place where you will see many more innovative scientific education programs, tours, and learning experiences each helping interpret the heritage of the region while also forecasting the future!
