Medieval Times Dinner Tournament - One of the most consistently popular things to do while in downtown Dallas whilst traveling with large groups of any sort, though especially student groups, is the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. This is a popular dinner theater spot that features all the best in jousting, horsemanship, falconry, and of course, quality dining fit for a king! As a matter of fact, you will have the chance to dine with the king while here! The 4-course, the utensil-free meal is served in the cozy castle-like atmosphere, complete with armed guards in suits of steel and gallant horses trotting about the stage area. During the 4-course dinner with King Don Carlos, you will partake in his favorite meal, featuring garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet corn, potatoes, and of course, a 'pastry of the castle' served with coffee. While dining festively you will be able to watch the two-hour tournament featuring six different competing knights, real weapons, live falconry flight, beautiful horses, and so much more! Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza - When it comes to authentic local history, it doesn’t get much better than this! At this spot, you will find an excellent collection of ‘comprehensive exhibits on JFK’s presidency and assassination at the site of the sniper's nest!’.Your entire group will love the official ‘Group Tour’ experience while here, complete with discounted admission, a 90-minute tour time, bus loading and admission, and Museum Store shopping time. The tours will take you through the main exhibit ‘JFK and the Memory of a Nation’, as well as the special and traveling exhibits on the seventh floor, such as the current ‘Amending America: The Bill of Rights’ exhibit. ‘Explore the life, assassination, and legacy of John F Kennedy within a context of 1960’s history and culture’ through rich multimedia experiences which encourage cross-generational community-fostering interest, knowledge, and understanding. Save enough time toward the end of your visit to explore the award-winning Museum Store and Cafe, the store featuring several items inspired by the 1960s!
Dallas Symphony Orchestra - The Dallas Symphony Orchestra, or sometimes more commonly referred to as the DSO, is one of the top cultural groups to see perform while in town! The performance venue of choice for this classical American orchestra is the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center, located centrally in downtown Dallas, more specifically in the Arts District. This organization was first founded in 1900 when a group of 45 musicians, since that day growing only bigger and better, something you will see for yourself while visiting and watching the current conductor, Jaap Van Zweden, do his magic with the orchestra. Currently, at the Meyerson, you will see such shows as Disney’s Fantasia, DSO Christmas Pops, and Tchaikovsky 4. Try to get here at least 30 minutes prior to your show to ensure you find your seat in time, and be sure to save time during the intermission or after the show to visit the Symphony Store as well!
Shenaniganz - Welcome to Shenaniganz, a super entertainment center located in Rockwell, Texas, just about 30 minutes away from downtown Dallas. This fun spot will be worth the drive to end your day, Shenaniganz boasting the title of ‘experts at handling busloads of kids and teens with crazy levels of energy’, meaning both the students and the chaperones will get a fun break from the day's travel routine! Shenaniganz is the place where you can ‘have fun with your food’, a half restaurant, half entertainment complex. Enjoy bowling, mini-golfing, go-karting, or playing laser tag while here, that is, after you enjoy a delicious dinner from Rozie’s Grill, of course. Rozie’s will provide your group with all the best in pub foods, from extra cheesy pizza and spicy wings to gourmet sandwiches and salads. The staff will truly make it easy for the planners and chaperones while here, something you can all enjoy!

Dallas Summer Musicals - Though the name may lead you to believe this is a summer-only production facility, this is really a year-round, highly popular, award-winning Broadway and off-broadway production center, considered to be one of the best in North Texas! Dallas Summer Musical is the ‘preeminent nonprofit presenter of Broadway theater in North Texas’, the only center around here that produces, presents, and promotes excellence in live musical theater with year-round performances for a wide range of audiences. This center and it's a lively group of performers who have actually won 25 Tony Awards, 9 Drama Desk Awards, and have been nominated for 4 Grammy Awards. This performance venue is located right next to the Cotton Bowl Stadium and Gexa Energy Pavilion, meaning there are plenty of places to choose from to eat before or after the show. We suggest heading over to the Pizza Lounge with your group for some gourmet pizza pies and sandwiches. They are open until 3 am, meaning this will even work for a post-show midnight snack!
Six Flags Over Texas - Your favorite amusement park franchise is bringing all the fun of thrilling roller coasters, delicious park food, and exciting rides of Superhero proportions to Arlington at Six Flags Over Texas, just about 15 minutes west of Dallas! Scream your way through a park full of phenomenal rides, scary drops and twists, and all the best attractions you could hope for in an amusement park. Over 212 amazing acres of fun, you can find everything from scream-tastic roller coasters to family-friendly carnival rides and more, just outside of Dallas. Six Flags is known for its incredible thrill rides, especially those themed after DC Comics characters like Justice League: Battle for Metropolis or Superman: Tower of Power. Stop for a funnel cake or even a healthy snack while you tour the park or head inside an air conditioned restaurant during those hot summer months!

Dallas Zoo - The oldest and largest zoological park in Texas, the Dallas Zoo started simply with two deer and two mountain lions. Today, the park boasts 106 acres of stunning landscaping, beautiful exhibits, and over 2,000 animals representing 406 species! They've certainly come a long way and because of this zoo's excellence, making it a highly recommended attraction that your group is bound to love. The Dallas Zoo is split into two zones: Zoo North and the Wilds of Africa. Zoo North is the site of the park's original section and contains modern exhibits such as the Otter Outpost as well as the endangered tiger habitat, Children's Zoo, Koala Walkabout, and Bug U!, an exhibit devoted to creepy crawlies! You can probably guess what sort of animals you can find in the Wilds of Africa but that makes it no less fascinating to visit. Explore nearly every kind of ecosystem found in Africa including the bush, savanna, rain forests, and mountain zones with their own native creatures while here!
Dallas Cowboys Tour - The Dallas Cowboys, Texas' golden child of the NFL and America's football sweetheart, find themselves at home at Dallas' AT&T Stadium. If you're a football fan at all, chances are you've enjoyed some Cowboys games over the years and here's your chance to visit where they play in person! Stadium tours include the VIP Guided Tour, the Art Tour, and Educational tours as well as self-guided options for groups that prefer a go-at-your-own-pace style of touring. During the VIP Guided Tour, the student group will be led by a professional guide through various areas of the AT&T Stadium such as a private suite, the print media press box, the Cotton Bowl office vestibule, the Dr. Pepper Star Bar, the field, the Miller Lite Club, the post-game interview room and also both the Cowboys and the Cheerleaders locker rooms.
