Studio Tour of Warner Brothers
First up: an exclusive VIP tour of the world’s busiest motion picture and television studio - a memorable, magical junket that whisks guests behind the scenes and through the gritty back-lot streets, bustling sound stages, sets, and craft shops for a thrilling glimpse of the real, working Hollywood. With filming and production underway, no two tours are alike; seasoned guides promise plenty of action! You and your student group will witness the creation of those incredible movie sound effects, study the art of set construction, pore over millions of prop department items and explore a rare collection of industry-related artifacts in the Warner Bros. Museum; if you’ve always wanted to walk right out onto the set of a hit television show during filming, here’s your shot! Not so brave? The slick magic of Green Screen lets aspiring young celebrities be photographed “in” their choice of Warner Brothers film for the souvenir of a lifetime! P.S.: Filming and production will be underway, so keep an eye out for your favorite stars.
Hollywood & Highland
Once the site of the legendary Hollywood Hotel, this popular landmark shopping mall and entertainment complex is situated conveniently at the corners of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue in the star-studded Hollywood district along the celebrated Walk of Fame; it’s one of the most visited destinations in all of LA! The center boasts fantastic views of the fabled Hollywood Hills and iconic Hollywood sign to the North, Santa Monica Mountains to the West and energetic downtown Los Angeles to the East; an enormous three-story movie-themed courtyard serves as the centerpiece to the center’s diverse sampling of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Day two of your West Coast holiday takes off with a fearless foray into the Fashion District - the energetic hub of the Los Angeles Fashion Industry, where inveterate captains of the trade, trend-trackers and bargain hunters, alike flock to pillage 100 blocks of independently-owned retail and wholesale businesses featuring apparel, accessories, and footwear at unbelievable savings. The LA Flower District and LA Flower Market – the largest flower market in the world-famed open-air bazaar Santee Alley and the LA Fabric District hawking the most comprehensive selection of fabrics and notions in Southern California are all located here. Showrooms open to the public on the last Friday of the month for sample sales and endless dining options promise you won’t shop hungry!

Santee Alley, LA’s premium Fashion District shopping experience – renowned for its festival atmosphere - features more than 150 merchants offering unbelievable bargains on countless “hot” items. "The Alley" – which really IS an alley - is open 365 days a year.

One of just three remaining Japan Towns in the United States, this charming 130+-year-old neighborhood daily courts thousands of visitors from around the world who come to Little Tokyo to enjoy Los Angeles’ most unique and authentic Japanese cultural experience. You’ll wrap up Day 2 exploring La Brea Avenue, a North-South thoroughfare anchored by the huge American Rag store – a popular lifestyle retailer - and home to an intriguing assemblage of urban antique stores, vintage clothiers and furniture galleries, landmark attractions - including the Ray Charles Post Office and the La Brea Tar Pits - and some of the city's top restaurants. La Brea’s outstanding claim to fame is its variety; indisputably LA’s “artiest” shopping strip, its vendors showcase the trendiest and best of everything!

You’ll kick off Day 3 of your West Coast extravaganza with a little sightseeing - Hollywood Style!
