The amazing animals at the Baltimore National Aquarium await your visit on your trip to Baltimore. On a mission to inspire conservation about the world’s aquatic treasures, the Baltimore National Aquarium is devoted to promoting public participation and enjoyment. Visitors can see fascinating exhibits, participate in fun activities, and shop for gifts and souvenirs.

When you visit the National Aquarium, you will see sea creatures and featured exhibits including Blacktip Reef. Here, you will encounter animals such as blacktip reef sharks, whiptail rays, a 500 pound green sea turtle, and zebra sharks.

The Living Seashore exhibit allows visitors the opportunity to touch interesting animals. You can graze your hand over a moon jelly and an Atlantic stingray, learn about some of the beach’s treasures including horseshoe crabs, sand dollars, and egg cases, and you can also discover shore secrets through interactive digital touch-table games.

The Baltimore National Aquarium offers daily tours for guests of all ages to enjoy. One of the options is the Daily Behind-the-Scenes Tour during which visitors will have the opportunity to learn about what it takes to care for the animals at the aquarium.

While you're here, take part in the Dolphin Encounter where visitors will take a tour of the Dolphin Discovery exhibit and learn how the marine team teaches these amazing creatures. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience with one of the aquarium’s Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. At the end of the encounter, you will receive a commemorative photo of your visit and a shirt.
