The Boston Duck Tour is an interesting and comfortable way to view the city before you take more in-depth tours of your favorite places. Tours depart daily from three locations and each drive by slightly different locations. Each DUCK can fit up to 36 guests but if your group is larger than this, there are 28 vehicles so everyone can ride along. Groups may customize over two dozen possible packages to get the most out of their Boston Duck experience including restaurants and attractions like the Museum of Science and the New England Aquarium. If your group is over 20 people, be sure to make reservations a few weeks in advance as this is a popular attraction.
Historic in themselves, the Ducks are fashioned after the style of WWII DUKW vehicles. They are regularly inspected by the Coast Guard and certified with modern safety standards. Some history of these vehicles is included in the tour along with the facts about the city’s famous landmarks.
