The time has finally come, all that waiting and anticipating is finally over, your group is going to DISNEYLAND! This is a true dream come true for kids, kids at heart, and even bigger kids pretending to be adults! Out of this world attractions, entertainment, and food await you at this magical mecca of fun, not to mention all the memories to be made all throughout the 85-acre park. In 1955 Disneyland became the first of two amusement parks built at Disneyland Resort, the second being Disney California Adventure (DCA). Disneyland, however, is the only one to be designed and built directly under the supervision of Walt Disney himself. Open typically 9 am to midnight, your student group is going to want to set aside anywhere from 4-8 hours to fully enjoy
all that Disney has created for you!

This iconic amusement park features 8 different themed ‘lands’, including Critter Country, New Orleans Square, Adventureland, Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, and Mickey’s Toontown. Each land brings its own unique attractions, eateries, and events to the table, making the experience likable for practically any age level and/or interest in your group. Where else can you

‘...sail with pirates, explore exciting jungles, meet fairytale princesses, dive under the ocean, and rocket through the stars - all in the same day’?

More specifically speaking, there are 54 total attractions for our group to explore, including such iconic favorites as Chip and Dale’s Treehouse, the Haunted Mansion, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Splash Mountain, and the Matterhorn. These rides range from ‘oh, that’s a nice relaxing breeze’ thrill level to ‘oh my god why did I get on this again’, so you will certainly find something you like! Food-wise you will have 36 different restaurants and food carts to choose from, the eateries themed after iconic characters, movies, or areas of the world. Before you go try to catch the Remember...Dreams Come True Firework Spectacular, or maybe just catch a couple of minutes of the Dapper Dans or Jedi Training. The entertainment options here are out of this world!

*For a more in-depth look at Disneyland plan to take a VIP or Walk in Walt’s Disneyland Footsteps tour, both really excellent ways to get to know the history, culture, and layout of the park.
