Eisenhower National Historic Site

The Eisenhower National Historic Site is the former weekend retreat of President and General Eisenhower, as well as a regularly used meeting place for world leaders of the time. The entire property consists of several acres of cropland, historic barns, and peaceful Angus-grazed pastures, not to mention the elegant house itself and it's impressive putting greens.

Start your visit by exploring the house, from the lavish living room to the First Ladies' pink bathroom. See the sunporch and kitchen, as well as all the bedrooms in between. The house is adjacent to the Gettysburg Battlefield, with an excellent view of the South Mountain.

The site provides various educational programs for 4th-12th graders, plus professional development opportunities for teachers and in-classroom programs. All the offered Ranger Field Trip Programs are as follows:
