The presidential library of Missouri’s own Harry S. Truman, the so-named Harry S. Truman Library and Museum welcomes the general public to learn about the nation’s 33rd president and his time in office. Administered by the National Archives and Records Administration, the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum is an authentic and genuine display of the president’s time in office and his life with personal artifacts, archived documents and photographs, and more. General collections and permanent exhibits include Truman: the Presidential Years which outlines the major issues and events ongoing during his presidency, and Harry S. Truman: His Life and Times which educates us on the president’s personal life and family. Both exhibits, as well as temporary exhibits, include fascinating stories, documents, and details about the famed president during WWII and his Missouri backgrounds.
