Hollywood Wax Museum Myrtle Beach

On your trip to Myrtle Beach, you might find yourselves itching for a little taste of Hollywood. Instead of going to the movies, why not take a side trip to the Hollywood Wax Museum, where you can find all of your favorite stars surrounded by sets and props like on a real movie. Walk behind the scenes, traipse along the red carpet, sing on stage, and take your picture with your favorite celebrities!

Every day at 9 am the doors open onto a museum of stars, a collection of wax figures in the form of the best and brightest movie and rock stars that history and time have given us. See Johnny Depp posing as Captain Jack Sparrow on the deck of the Black Pearl, meet Nicholas Cage hunting for the National Treasure, and see Tom Hanks on Forrest Gump’s park bench. Lucille Ball, Audrey Hepburn, and other classic stars are also in attendance as are some you might not expect. As you approach the museum, look up and see King Kong climbing the building’s side and pose with his mighty hand around you inside. Beware, you might run into some villains like Predator and Alien in the dark, shadowy corners of the museum.

Hollywood Wax Museum is also home to Outbreak: Dread the Undead Zombie exhibit as well as a mirror maze. Tour the museum for an hour or two and then get lost in the seemingly endless maze with your group.

If you, like many people, have ever wanted a picture with your favorite movie star or celebrity crush, there’s no better place to do it than a wax museum like the one in Myrtle Beach.
