Manhattan by Sail

If your group is looking for a breath of fresh air during your NYC adventure book a cruise with Manhattan by Sail, one of the most relaxing ways to see the sights of the city by sail!

This company has been a Manhattan cruise line fixture in the Battery since 1972, growing from one humble yacht to a 'diverse little fleet of ships as well as corresponding myriad of options for any and all who want to experience the thrill of the world's greatest harbor'. Talk about a big jump up in the sailing world!

The main sailing season starts up late April each year (April 27th, 2018). There are a vast variety of different cruises you can take depending on the time of year, with several holiday-themed cruises such as the popular 4th of July cruise or jazz and champagne filled evening cruises.

Of course, there are sightseeing cruises, dinner cruises, and what we think your group may like the most, the option for completely customizable closed group cruises. If this is your choice you can pick between 2 different boats, Clipper City, the 1985 replica of an 1850's howler, with a capacity of 149 passengers, or the Shearwater Wooden Schooner, a 49 capacity, 82' sailer from 1929.
