Pacific Aviation Museum

Pacific Aviation Museum

Located on Ford Island in the middle of Pearl Harbor, the Pacific Aviation Museum is dedicated to creating an authentic, educational attraction honoring those who fought in the Pacific Theater during WWII and who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor.

With several hangars of restored aircraft and galleries of artifacts and stories, the Pacific Aviation Museum is a wonderful educational attraction for groups of all types and sizes. Visit the various hangars to see dive bomber planes and pursuit fighters, learn about the Wildcat fighter plane and the different types of training planes used to train new aviators. See the painted Warhawk fighter, a Tomcat, and even an interceptor plane which was used to defend against enemy air attacks. A stop at the Restoration Shop will give your group an inside look into how they restore aircraft.

The Pacific Aviation Museum is located on the grounds of the Pearl Harbor National Park and is close by the USS Arizona Memorial as well as the memorials of the USS Missouri and USS Bowfin among others. A visit to the park and the museum is highly recommended for any group visiting Hawaii.
