Philharmonic Orchestra Buffalo

Philharmonic Orchestra Buffalo

While your student group is visiting Buffalo, you should consider enjoying a performance by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. The Grammy Award-winning orchestra presents more than 120 classics but also pop songs, rock, kids, and youth concerts throughout the year. Since 1940, the permanent home for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has been Kleinhans Music Hall, a Historic Landmark designed by architects Eliel and Eero Saarinen, considered to be one of the best concert halls in the United States.

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra is comprised of musicians from all over the world and led by distinguished conductors. The music director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra is JoAnn Falletta, internationally celebrated as a vibrant ambassador for music as well as an inspiring artistic leader. JoAnn has been invited to be a guest conductor for many of the world’s finest symphony orchestras.

In the course of your visit, your group will hear woodwinds, strings, brass, and percussion instruments performing the absolute best and most melodic songs that ever graced the stage. Prior to or after the performance, group members can check out the gifts and souvenirs at the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra gift shop. Your group will find items such as jewelry, mugs, items to help you entertain, musical notepad and stationary, clever musical attire, and the popular Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra fleece jackets. You can also purchase CDs that were recorded by the orchestra.
