The Ride the Ducks tour is the only tour in Branson to go on both land and water. In this 70 minute adventure, your Duck will drive through town, climb a mountain, and swim across either Lake Taneycomo or Table Rock Lake. The Ducks resemble WWII DUKW military vehicles but they are maintained with the latest marine designs and safety precautions. Each Duck is regularly examined and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard. On every tour you will learn the history of some of the military’s unique vehicles like the DUKW. Not only is there education and the unique experience of going from land to water without changing vehicles, the Ride the Ducks tour is an entertaining ride. Kids are allowed to drive the Ducks on the lake under the pilot’s supervision, music and jokes are piped along the sound system so you may sing along with the group or quack along with your complimentary duck beaks.
Ride the Ducks is a fantastic option for groups and the company is accommodated to hosting groups from 15-630 people. Each Duck can hold up to 35 guests but if your group is larger than 35, it’s no problem, there are 18 vehicles available for daily tours. There are personalized plans and amenities for youth groups, school or camp trips, company outings, senior adult trips, or birthdays. For children there is a separate Kid Splash Room where the young ones can play in the water before or after the tour. However, this tour isn’t enjoyable just for children. Adults from all backgrounds also appreciate the fun-loving and captivating excursion led by a knowledgeable and informative captain. The sights, of course, are always a perk and the views of each lake are second to none, to say nothing of the ride’s open-air view of Branson.
