Baltimore's Ripley's Believe It or Not is a fun and unique way to spend time with friends and family among the tricky Mirror Maze, the 4D Moving Theater, and several galleries made for exploring. Some people may think that Ripley's is only good for kids, but they'd be wrong! Baltimore's own Ripley's museum is full of interactive play areas, weird wild artifacts that make you say "what?!" and plenty of activities to bring out your inner child!
Featuring 2,000 square feet of mirrored path, surprising corners, dead ends and continuous circles, the Mirror Maze is a surprisingly confounding and exciting way to lose yourselves. Featured galleries at Ripley's include: Ripley's Gallery, the Weird Art Gallery, Interactives Gallery, the Warehouse Gallery, Toothpick City, Ripley's Vault, and the Egyptian Gallery. The Weird Art Gallery features huge portraits of Bill and Hillary Clinton made out of hamburger grease, a giant penny made from pennies, the world’s largest piece of lint art depicting Michelangelo’s creation of Adam, and Oceans 11th Hour which is a magnificent sculpture made out of driftwood washed ashore on Florida beaches measuring over 13 feet in diameter! The Interactives Gallery features hands-on activities and displays for both students and adults. Try your hand at shooting the Ripley's Barnyard Gallery or performing tongue acrobatics.
From the moment you walk up to the museum doors and see the giant serpentine sea dragon circling the entrance, you'll know you're in for a treat! There's never a dull moment at Ripley's where the weird, wild, and crazy are commonplace. Open 365 days a year at 10 am, Ripley's is an easy choice to add to any Baltimore group trip schedule. Student groups are sure to enjoy this one-of-a-kind attraction!
