Snoopy’s Pier is an absolutely amazing hole-in-the-wall type of eatery that attracts both locals and tourists in large flocks daily. Snoopy’s is located right on the water and harvests their own seafood from the dock, offering the freshest seafood at an extremely reasonable price. This authentic fish shack will provide your group one of the best sunset views East of California if you happen to come here during the evening, as well as some of the best daytime ocean views in town! Enjoy the on-site fish house and shrimp breeding facility that takes special care in monitoring the quality and freshness of the seafood served daily and learn the history of the establishment itself.
A quick history lesson will tell you of the Redfish wars, when commercial fishing rights were a struggle in the '70s and '80s in the bays of Texas, leading to many people (like Snoopy’s owners) to give up trying to catch fish and cook them instead. See the old photos of Snoopy’s like a bait stand and burger joint on a 600-foot pier and learn how it evolved with family and friend recipes added to the mix.
