If you are visiting Philadelphia during the summer, more specifically anytime May - September, you are going to have to make a stop at Spruce Street Harbor Park, 'one of the best urban beaches in America'! (Jetsetter)

Spruce Street Harbor Park is an 'essential warm-weather attraction' located on Penns Landing. It sits on the Delaware River waterfront and was first established here in 2014. Colorful hammocks, delicious foods, games, and special events will greet you here at this boardwalk oasis, a seriously great place to grab a bite to eat with your group and enjoy the views.

Food from some of the area's best-known chefs is served from converted shipping containers, a really cool way to repurpose space and serve some of the most delicious foods in Philly. From burgers and Philly cheesesteaks to funnel cakes and the iconic Federal Donut chicken sandwich, we guarantee everyone in your group can find something they like here.

There are also games throughout the area, such as bocce and shuffleboard, and plenty of outdoor rec options. Rent a kayak or swan boat, or perhaps just dip your feet in the water and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the most popular urban gathering spots in Philadelphia!
