United Center

United Center

If you are a Chicago Bulls or Chicago Blackhawks fan then this is the stop for you, the massively celebrated United Center the proud home of both teams. This indoor sports arena is located on Madison Street in the Near West Side, the entire arena holding up to 23,5000 guests at once. This is actually considered to be the U.S’s largest arena, hosting over 200 events annually and seeing over 40 million guests in its time.

The center was first built in 1994, though both the Bulls and the Hawks have been around much longer than that (the latter of the two since the 1920s!). Team history-wise, the Bulls have seen 6 NBA championships, the famous 3 peat of the ’90s, and even the declaration of being the ‘Team of the Decade’ since establishment, and the Hawks have a long-standing American history appreciation in both name and logo design. Learn all about these teams, shop at the team stores, watch them play, or grab a bite to eat at any of the over 25 food joints within.

Not a fan of the NBA or NHL? Don’t worry, there are plenty of regularly scheduled events and concerts here as well, the past seeing such major events as the 1996 Democratic National Convention, Ringling Brothers, and performers such as The Who and The Rolling Stones.
