World’s Tallest Roller Coaster Coming to Orlando

As if Orlando wasn't already a perfect destination for thrill seekers and roller coaster enthusiasts, Skyplex has just recently announced its plans to build the world's tallest roller coaster -- and they released an absolutely stomach-dropping mock-up video to go with it.

Skyplex is also a new creation -- planned to open in summer of 2015, it will be the area’s largest indoor theme park complete with arcading, simulators, rock climbing, and a wide variety of rides and games, as well as attractions, interactive venues, restaurants and retail shops.

The Skyscraper roller coaster will be the first of it's kind not only in height, but in architecture. “The unique design of the coaster means more incredible, heart-pounding inside and outside loops, dives, spirals and inversions in a vertical area than riders have ever before experienced,” said Bill Kitchen, Founder of Orlando-based US Thrill Rides and creator of the Polercoaster. Not to mention, the ride lasts FOUR MINUTES. And there won't be any down time.
